Sound Installations. Sounds of synthesizers and of electronically processed wind music from various sound sources are transmitted through two kilometres of cable that run in meanders along the walls or are stretched out into the open space. The visitor perceives the sounds through headphones and, walking around, becomes “a mixer himself”. Changing according to the location, tempo and direction of the observer, the technical equipment and the room itself with a view of the water combine to form a spatial installation. Christina Kubisch was born in Bremen in 1948 and lives in Milan.
