Roxy’s und Other Works from the Onnasch Collection. From the Onnasch Collection, Berlin, works by the American artist Edward Kienholz, born in 1927, will be shown. The large installation “Roxy’s” will be permanently presented at the Neues Museum Weserburg beginning in 1990 as an important work from this private collection. As a replica of the Las Vegas brothel “Roxy’s,” it consists of a collection of armchairs, divans, dim light, and mood-creating details with grotesque plastic structures.
