Pictorial humour meets commonplace. In the small reverse glass paintings, which Veronika Dobers has made available to the GAK as an annual edition, she combines peculiar pictorial elements in floor- and borderless pictorial spatiality with all too familiar idioms, which are thus placed in a new enigmatic context.
