With her performance series G.sänge (singings), the Bremen voice artist and composer Gabriele Hasler is a guest of the GAK Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst three times this year.
On Sunday, August 7, 2011, the second event by and with Gabriele Hasler will take place, this time together with the vocal ensemble Klangbad. The waves of this ‘Klangbad’ (sound bath) move between laughter and sound, eavesdropping and screaming, overtones and undertones, minimal patterns and improvisation, words and sounds. Anyone with a desire for vocal experiments can take part. Vocal training or experience is explicitly not a prerequisite for the participants. Embedded are solo contributions by Gabriele Hasler.
Hasler’s G.sänge are presented in the context of Frei.Zeit. In this new series of events on every 1st weekend after the end of the exhibition, the GAK makes its rooms available for public performances of various kinds.
As part of the series Frei.Zeit.
