The drawings of the series Un-unframed (colored pencil and pencil on paper, wood, plastic, metal, 42 x 33 cm) rhythmically record studio conversations in the form of graphic notations. In A soliloquy as a lecture Nadia Lichtig continues, partly in musical form, a conversation whose starting point is the dialogue that has begun with Felix Dreesen.
Nadia Lichtig (*1973 in Munich) lives and works in the South of France and is professor (painting, experiment, sound) at the Montpellier Academy of Art (MOCO). Nadia Lichtig’s artistic practice is based on the collection of voices and their visual and sonic interpretations, which are situated between fragment, diary, misappropriation and stuttering.
