On the third Thursday event on the occasion of the exhibition “Ich brauche wenig Wirklichkeit (I rarely need reality)” by Nina Hoffmann, the Berlin curator and art historian Akiko Bernhöft will take a dialogical tour of the exhibition together with the artist. “Ich brauche wenig Wirklichkeit (I rarely need reality)” offers a particularly broad spectrum of media diversity, which is why the question of the use of materials will be the focus of the joint viewing of the works. In addition, important artistic, theoretical and literary references will be presented, which are of importance to Nina Hoffmann in connection with her exhibition at the GAK, but also for her work in general (Sharon Hayes, Klaus Theweleit, Zoe Leonard and others). In conversation with the visitors, the view of “Ich brauche wenig Wirklichkeit (I rarely need reality)” is thus deepened and expanded.
