During the last Frei.Zeit at the GAK Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst, the multi percussion duo Achromatic Percussion will present their varied concert program.
The duo was founded in 2015 by the prospective orchestra percussionist Moritz Koch, student at the University of the Arts Bremen, and the professional drummer Sascha B. Suso. Achromatic Percussion focuses on a virtuosic and extremely rehearsal-intensive interplay with an unusually broad range of instruments, including works by Casey Cangelosi, Gene Koshinski, Tomer Yarif and Alan Keown. The diversity of the selected composers provides for surprising musical contrasts.
Last year the duo worked on various projects, such as the dance project “Friedenskrieger” with young people and refugees from Bremen under the direction of Christine Witte with performances at the Schlachthof and Haus im Park in Bremen. On 11 June 2016 they gave their debut concert in the Sendesaal Bremen.
