Debts are highly present on one hand and simultaneously difficult to grasp. Detached from concrete situations, environments, and circumstances, they are abstract and seemingly universally valid formulas of one thing offsetting another, often closely linked to moral judgments. You Breathe Differently Under the Weight. Debt and credit discusses how debts manifest in images, bodies, relationships, landscapes, and infrastructures, and the effects and feelings they evoke.
