The performance is part of a series of works in which Karolin Meunier explores different techniques of speaking and communicating. It complements her video installation within the exhibition “Beyond Words”. The drawn diagram from the video work Auto Description Model presented in the exhibition is transferred to the room in a lecture and dissolved into a narrative. The coordinates of the performance situation will play as much a role as its loss.
Karolin Meunier lives in Berlin. Her videos, texts and performances deal with the standardized conditions of communication. In September, she will publish an artist’s book on the subject with the Jan van Eyck Akademie Maastricht.
